2 Chainz performs on stage at ONE Musicfest on Sept. 9, 2018 in Atlanta.

Fans have been wondering about 2 Chainz's absence from the hip-hop music scene since his Rap or Go to the League album was slated to drop this year, but time is quickly running out. In the meantime, the ATL native returned on Friday (Nov. 16) to keep everyone warm with a fresh two-pack of tracks as part of his Hot Wings Are a Girl's Best Friend EP.

The miniature project boasts a pair of tracks, much like Drake's Scary Hours EP that released at the top of 2018 featuring Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit "God's Plan." Chainz gives a bold solo effort on "Hot Wings" and taps versatile assist-man-of-the-year Ty Dolla $ign for an appearance on "Girl's Best Friend."

The 41-year-old kicks off "Girl's Best Friend" with a shout-out to the best man at his wedding this summer, Lil Wayne. "Just so you know Dwayne Carter that my best man/ I ain't playing so no switching to the next plan/ I need insurance on the chainz, damn I need a neck plan/ Then I told shawty you ain't really with the X-Games," the Drench God rhymes over Cardo and Dez Wright production.

2 Chainz surprised fans early Thursday (Nov. 16) by announcing he had some new music just mere hours away. The post also featured a teaser for an upcoming visual that we can assume will be attached to either "Hot Wings" or "Girl's Best Friend" in the near future.

Give both tracks off the Hot Wings Are a Girl's Best Friend EP a listen below.
