Earlier this week (Sept. 11), Young Thug turned himself in to Georgia authorities, where a grand jury warrant for eight felonies was issued in his name, stemming from an arrest in September of last year. According to the DeKalb County Sheriffs’ Office database and Thugger’s girlfriend, Jerrika Karlae, the 27-year-old is a free man after posting bond Thursday night.

“Big thanks to these amazing two Mr. Brian Steele and @DrewFindling… The Goat is free #GodisGood @ThuggerThugger1 continue making history and touching the masses with your talent,” Karlae wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. Jail records show that Jeffery Lamar Williams was processed for release at approximately 8:49 p.m. on Thursday.

Prior to turning himself in, Young Thug teased the title to his next project On the Rvn in a series of tweets. A notepad posted to his Instagram sees a list of possible collaborators on the record that includes Elton John, Jaden Smith, 6LACK and T-Shyne.

"Turned in mixes before he turned himself in so I could make sure he was happy with it. Clearances take time,” mix engineer and close friend of Thug's, Alex Tumay, tweeted Wednesday regarding the project’s holdup.
