Putting a hip-hop spin on the holiday season, Tyler, the Creator unveiled on Friday (Nov. 9) his original song “I Am the Grinch” for the new Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch movie.

In classic Tyler, the Creator fashion, the hip-holiday track offers a playful vibe with an eccentric narrative. Describing the film's plot, Tyler raps, "I was in snow/ Ain't need a coat/ Max with the sled/ Off with their head/ I don't like love/ I don't like fun/ When I'm around/ Christmas is done."

Rhyming over the dreamy beat, the MC delivers a grumpy flow that completely matches the Grinch's personality.

In addition to the lively song, the rapper also contributed to the soundtrack with a cover of "You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.” Both the movie and the original soundtrack are out now.
