Months after releasing his debut album Activated, Tee Grizzley looks to motivate the trenches on his new record "Wake Up" with Chance the Rapper

The soulful track finds Grizzley and Chance rapping with aplomb, encouraging corner boys to stay optimistic despite their daily tussles on the streets. "Daydream, make a plan, write it out, don't forget that your mind free," Grizzley asserts.

On the flipside, Chance, known for his altruism, speaks on his decision to give back to his community. "I'm in the trenches (I'm in the trenches)/ I give 'em hope (Hope, hope)/ I get 'em books (I get 'em books)/ I get 'em coats (I get 'em coats)," he raps over the J Gramm-produced beat.

"Wake Up" will live on Grizzley's forthcoming project Still My Moment, which drops Friday (Nov. 9). For Grizzley, Nov. 9 marks his first day off parole and will enable him to travel out the country for the first time since his incarceration two years ago.
