Curren$y Teams Up With Freddie Gibbs and The Alchemist For New Joint Project 'Fetti': Listen

CJ Wallis

After announcing plans for a collaborative project at the top of 2017, Curren$y connects with Freddie Gibbs and The Alchemist behind the boards for their anticipated Fetti joint project, which released in full on Wednesday (Oct. 31) as planned.

The nine-track effort was crafted in just two days of recording from the "Scottie Pippen" artists, according to a Gibbs Instagram live session last month (Sept. 25). The underground trio reunites for the concise project, which remains free of outside features. Fetti implements a brief cinematic experience for listeners, filled with current themes and punchlines over hard-hitting production throughout.

Fetti joins a stacked list of hip-hop collaborative albums to release in 2018. Gibbs also released some exclusive Fetti merchandise over at his official website. Fans can catch the Indiana native hosting a Halloween and Fetti release party in Los Angeles at Sweet Chick Wednesday night (Oct. 31).
