IshDARR Shows No Signs Of Stopping With New Single 'Slow Down': Premiere

On the heels of delivering "Never Ask" earlier in the month (Oct. 18), IshDARR unleashes the final single prior to the release of his sophomore album on Friday (Nov. 2). The Milwaukee native calls on hard-hitting production from Trackside and Take A Day Trip, who worked on Sheck Wes' riotous "Mo Bamba," for the uptempo "Slow Down," premiering exclusively on Billboard today (Oct. 29).

Following a potentially anthemic chorus, Ish rhymes about the pursuit of one's dreams, all of while taking his burgeoning artistry to the next level. "This song for me was aimed around the state of being aware of all decisions you are making while chasing a dream you have," he tells Billboard. "The energy in it speaks for itself."

The 22-year-old's self-released Slow Down, Kid album features 14 tracks and sees production from the likes of Internet Money golden child Nick Mira, Nostxlogic, Johnny Yukon, Bizness Boi, Canis Major, who executive produced the project, and many more.

IshDARR looks to keep the momentum rolling after making his silver screen debut last month (Sept. 14), where he starred alongside his brother and Matthew McConaughey in White Boy Rick.
