Ciara Arranges Atlanta Pep Rally For New Dance-Heavy 'Dose' Video: Watch
Ciara reconnected with her Atlanta roots to organize an overnight pep rally in the streets of the ATL as part of the bouncy visual for her new single "Dose." The Cici co-directed clip, released on Monday (Oct. 22), features a phalanx of captivating dancers at her back, while the team bust their choreographed dance moves down the street, as hundreds in the crowd proudly cheer them on.
"You never know what could happen in the streets of Atlanta. Atlanta is a place I call home. The place I spent most of my life growing up. Atlanta shaped me to be who I am today as an artist. On this night, we decided to go out in the streets of Atlanta and get a little bit of that 'Dose,'" Ciara narrates to kick off the clip.
Dance-themed records are nothing new for Ciara, who pays homage to the heart and soul of the Atlanta music scene that played an inspirational role in her childhood.
The previously-released "Level Up" sparked the widespread craze of the "Level Up" challenge that saw numerous celebrities and thousands of fans participate throughout the summer. All signs point to the 32-year-old releasing her first album since 2015's Jackie at some point in the near future.
