Joey Purp ft. RZA performs "Goodbye - Part 2" on Oct. 22, 2018 on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Delivering brainy wordplay and razor-sharp flows, Joey Purp took over The Tonight Show stage on Monday night (Oct. 22) alongside Wu-Tang's own RZA for a rocking performance of their single "Godbody Pt 2." The track from Purp's 2018 album Quarterthing -- allowed both MC's to contemplate very different themes while showing off their vocal gymnastics.

Kicking off with a spooky beat -- ideal for the Halloween season -- RZA came out swinging with his bitcoin-inspired rhymes, showing that he is still a living force to be reckoned with.

Weaving various themes together, Joey Purp slid in with his mindful wordplay contemplating past, present and future as he rhymed, "I speak the truest, they misconstrue it, we incongruent/ I need a moment, I need atonement, it's more than music/ I fear no evil, don't spit the serpent for he deceitful/ I fear no demons, I buy the chains just to free my people."

In between driving drums and dynamic keyboards -- the Chicago-native also made sure to pay tribute to late XXXtentacion, by changing one of the lines to "Rest in peace to X, the world won't be the same."
