Ahead of Asahd Khaled's birthday next week (Oct. 23), DJ Khaled and his wife, Nicole Tuck, threw their son Asahd a carnival-themed second birthday bash inside Marlins Park in Miami, Fla. on Saturday night (Oct. 13). The We The Best Music Group CEO also announced the launching of the charitable Asahd's Initiative during the party.

The shindig featured a petting zoo, carnival rides, fun games, arts and crafts exhibits, and even a special Asahd Khaled Brand Jordan Collection fashion show. Yo Gotti and New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter also made appearances, and Jeter presented Khaled's We The Best Foundation with a $100,000 check on behalf of the Miami Marlins.

Outside of friends and family in attendance, Khaled and his family made it a special night for underprivileged inner-city kids in the 305 area. Over 150 children and their families from community centers such as the local Boys and Girls Club and other organizations were invited to take part in the celebration.

"My son is the greatest gift of life, our children are the world’s biggest blessing, so I am so grateful to be able to celebrate his life with a carnival and to be hosting many inner-city kids and their families so everyone in our community can experience joy today at the iconic Marlins Stadium together in our hometown of Miami," the 42-year-old told People.
