Last year, Khalid's career went on cruise control after he surged his way into prominence with his top 20 single "Location." Since then, the 20-year-old has flourished on the music scene with his soaring vocals and memorable features (Logic's "1-800-273-8255" and Marshmello's "Silence"). Now, Khalid is ready to unleash a new body of work in the form of his forthcoming EP Suncity.

Set to be released Oct. 19, Khalid offered fans a look at the cover art for this latest effort. "Suncity The EP. 10/19 Start of a new era," he tweeted on Friday (Oct. 12). For Khalid, the singer is relishing his most recent wins, including notching an award at the 2018 AMAs for soul/R&B male artist and landing a top 10 single on the Billboard Hot 100 alongside Normani for "Love Lies."

"I never go in thinking about making a hit record. I just go into the studio with people I love and respect and see what happens," Khalid recently told Billboard. "It’s more about getting to know my peers and putting our heart and soul into the music, and hopefully [the result] is something that we’re both proud of."
