Jaden Smith announced the forthcoming release of a project titled The Sunset Tapes: A Cool Tape Story (due Nov. 17) and released a new single "Goku" on Friday (Oct. 5).

The 20-year-old musician made the project announcement via Twitter on Thursday (Oct. 4). "Goku" followed a few hours later.

The new Dragon Ball Z-inspired single -- Goku is the main character in the animated series -- showcases a boastful Smith. The track features a strong verse with references to A$AP Rocky and radio personality Charlamagne tha God. "I'm ballin', I feel like I'm Goku," Smith declares on the chorus, cutting straight to the chase before it drops into an electronic jam.

Meanwhile, nabbing recent features on Young Thug's On the Rvn and (briefly) on Logic's YSIV, Smith has continued to establish his name in the industry. Given that he has received seeming stamps of approval from talents like Kendrick Lamar and Kid Cudi, among others, The Sunset Tapes could be a project to watch out for later this fall.
