Kanye West continued to triple-down on his support of Donald Trump by rocking the signature red MAGA hat during his polarizing guest appearance on the season 44 premiere of Saturday Night Live over the weekend (Sept. 29). The move upset many in the hip-hop community, including Swizz Beatz, who responded with his disappointment of West in a video posted to social media shortly after the performance Sunday (Sept. 30).

"I hear you talking about being bullied for the hat. It feels kinda funny because we were just talking about the hat less than 48 hours ago. I was just addressing how uncomfortable the culture feels with you representing somebody who's blatantly hurting our people," Swizz emphatically stated. "Ain't nobody bullying you, we love you, but you gotta stop that shit man, that shit ain't right, and you know how I feel."

The NYC-bred producer also flipped his well-documented ill will toward the MAGA hat into a hard-hitting beat. After calling out Yeezy, the 40-year-old played his creation for the public, which features Swizz repeatedly saying "fuck the MAGA hat" on a loop. It remains unclear if the bristling production will make an appearance on his upcoming Poison album.
