Kanye West Calls Out Drake, Nick Cannon & Tyson Beckford in Defense of Kim Kardashian: 'None of Y'all Speak on My Wife'
Though Kanye West is busy working on his two upcoming projects (YANDHI and Good Ass Job), he recently took a break from the studio to address Drake, Nick Cannon and Tyson Beckford on Instagram in defense of his wife Kim Kardashian.
In four Instagram videos, West calls out each entertainer for their egregious commentary on Kim and his family. "Now that I'm out of the sunken place, I can be Ye and express how I feel," Kanye says in the first of four videos. "There's a couple of things that I wanna address. First of all, I wanna address Nick Cannon. I understand that you used to date my wife, but [when] you get in an interview, don't mention my wife. If someone brings up my wife, you say, 'Ye, I respect that man. I'm not speaking on that.'"
West later turns his attention to Drake, whom he has tried to be amicable with despite the slew of shots sent his way from the 6 God. "If I wasn't in a medicated state, I would have had the wherewithal to say, 'Hey Pusha, don't diss Drake on my beat.' And I spoke about that and took accountability for that," Ye says. "The fact that people are making rumors that you fucked my wife and you not saying nothing and you carrying it like that, that don't sit well with my spirit."
He also mentions how he believes Drake's usage of "Kiki" from his Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping single "In My Feelings" was directed at his wife. "You know, if I had a girlfriend from Chicago and her name was Ranita and then you was married to Rihanna, I wouldn't make no song called 'Riri.' So when you're like, 'Oh, I don't know where it come from,' you're too smart for that, bro. You know where that come from. Don't make no record with nothing that can be confused."
After that, West veers back into Drake's beef with Pusha and adamantly states that he did not tell his G.O.O.D. Music cohort anything about Drizzy's baby for his scathing diss "The Story of Adidon." "Now I done told you, I didn't tell Pusha no information about your baby, your baby mama, nothing like that. That didn't come from me, but when you played that record for me in the studio that said, 'Yo we got some Kylies, we got some Kendalls,' I told you, 'Travis [Scott] is your man. Don't make no record like that. That man just had a baby with [Kylie Jenner]. That's gonna be offensive to her.'
Though West doesn't name the record in question, he could be referring to Drake and Future's unreleased track "Kylie/Kendall." The song was posted by Future on his Snapchat last March, but the full version has yet to be released.
Lastly, West switches his aim and targets model Tyson Beckford, who warred with Kim on Instagram last month after he was unimpressed with a photo of her body. "As far as Tyson Beckford goes, don't speak on my wife, bro. None of y'all speak on my wife."
