LUKA is looking to take his artistry to the next level before 2018 comes to a close. Billboard has learned that the 23-year-old has inked a new label deal with Heard Well Records, their first official artist on the roster. Coinciding with the signing announcement, the burgeoning rapper-producer has released his newest single, the bristling "I Have Something," today (Sept. 14).

"Heard Well sees my vision so vividly and I knew to team up with them, we would kill it," LUKA tells Billboard. "My first single with them, 'I Have Something,' spreads the message that we all need to channel that confidence and believe in ourselves, even when all the odds are against us."

Heard Well co-founder Jeremy Wineberg detailed what makes the "Papi Chulo" artist the right choice to begin building a formidable roster as just last year, Heard Well teamed up with Sony/ATV Music publishing to help scale the company made up of social media tastemakers.

"LUKA has an undeniable, positive POV with his music imbued with a look and energy that connects with fans always wanting more," Wineberg says. "It’s that authentic and affirm[ing] message that immediately resonated within the Heard Well fan community."
