Drake arrives to the NBA Awards at Basketball City on June 26, 2017 in New York.

Drake has been relentless in recent weeks in keeping his war of words with Kanye West going. In addition to dissing Kanye on tour in Chicago, leaked footage (Sept. 4) from an unreleased collaboration with French Montana finds the 6 God taking additional shots at Yeezy and his Adidas footwear.

"Keep it a G/ I told her don't wear no 350s around me," Drake can be heard rapping. Of course, with Drizzy signed to team Nike, it makes sense for him to diss the opposition, but there seems to be more to the static between West and the OVO rapper. After debuting the song at TAO nightclub in NYC last month (Aug. 22), the London On Da Track-produced single already has received the visual treatment and should be rolled out soon on French's behalf.

Kanye expressed in a Chicago radio interview last week (Aug. 29) that he hopes to one day repair his fractured relationship with Drake. Overnight Wednesday (Sept. 5), West extended an olive branch to Drake by issuing an apology for everything that's happened between them this year.

"Let me start by apologizing for stepping on your release date in the first place," Yeezy wrote. "We were building a bond and working on music together including squashing the issues with Cudi at our office." He later went on to deny giving Pusha-T any information regarding Drake's child that he used for "The Story of Adidon." Kanye concluded by saying he will be attending a show on Drake's Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour within the next week.
