Kendrick Lamar fans were sent into a frenzy for a short period of time thanks to a recent Instagram live session from Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith that featured TDE running mate Isaiah Rashad telling the world that Top just played him a "damn near" entire new K. Dot album. Top Dawg shut down the rumors by closing the door on a DAMN follow up from Kendrick in the near future in an Instagram post on Tuesday (Sept. 4).

"Att: KDot Don't Have A New Album Coming No Time Soon. So keep playing DAMN until the kid is inspired again. #TDE," Tiffith wrote. Rashad hopped into the comments to make sure everyone knew he was just joking around. "Lmao I swore we was just joking in the studio dawg," he said.

Lamar was a late addition to the Made In America Festival lineup Sunday (Sept. 3), where he opted for Nicki Minaj to shut down the show as the final act instead of him because he believed the pyrotechnics would better fit the Queen rapper's performance. Minaj expressed her gratitude for the kind gesture on Twitter Monday (Sept. 4).

"And S/O to Kendrick & his team for giving me their fireworks for the end of my show. They said it made more sense for it to close out the end of the night. Real n----z do Real things. They looked beautiful & went perfect with the end of moment 4 life. I know the crowd loved it," she penned.
