Post Malone After Emergency Plane Landing: 'I'm Alive. I'm Ready to Rock On.' (Exclusive)

The last 48 hours for Post Malone have been a whirlwind. Not only did Posty watch "Rockstar" clinch song of the year at the 2018 VMAs, but on Tuesday (Aug. 21), his private plane suffered a wheel malfunction.

"I'm alive. I'm ready to rock on," Malone told Billboard in an official statement after arriving safely at New York’s Stewart Airport. Initially, Malone was en route to London Luton Airport in Luton, England, following his performance Monday night at the 2018 MTV VMAs. During the plane's takeoff, two of the aircraft's left tires blew out. Originally, the plane was diverted to a Massachusetts airport before being re-diverted to Stewart International Airport in New Windsor, New York.

After Malone and company were deemed safe, the rapper posted on Twitter to let his fans know that he was indeed OK. “I landed guys. thank you for your prayers,” he tweeted. “Can't believe how many people wished death on me on this website. fuck you. but not today.”
