Post Malone Tweets After Plane Lands Safely: 'Thank You For Your Prayers'

The rapper’s plane had to make an emergency landing after its tires blew upon takeoff.

Post Malone took to Twitter on Tuesday (Aug. 21) to give fans a firsthand update after his private plane successfully made an emergency landing at New York’s Stewart Airport following a wheel malfunction.

“I landed guys. thank you for your prayers,” the rapper tweeted. “Can't believe how many people wished death on me on this website. fuck you. but not today.”

Malone had been on his way to London Luton Airport in Luton, England, following his performance at the 2018 MTV VMAs, when two of the plane's left tires blew out during takeoff. The plane was diverted to a Massachusetts airport, before being re-diverted to Stewart International Airport in New Windsor, N.Y.
