A good challenge can go a long way in terms of commercial success. Nicki Minaj looks to follow up Drake's "In My Feelings" Challenge with a viral dance craze of her own. The Barbz actually took it upon themselves to spawn the "Barbie Dreams" Challenge from Nicki's playful Queen standout cut. Minaj reposted one rendition that caught her eye, officially co-signing the movement on Monday afternoon (Aug. 20).
Famed dance choreographers Aliya Janell and Aryan Davenport set off the challenge to "celebrate Queen and to get a universal bop going" over the weekend. Nicki was blown away and hopes to actually learn their routine soon. "She’s back @ it again. #BarbieDreamsChallenge @thealiyajanell@aryandavenport y’all bodied as per usual. Thank you. Teach me this bitch," the Barbz leader wrote.
"Barbie Dreams" notched the highest debut on the Billboard Hot 100 from Queen, coming in at No. 18 on the chart. Minaj's 32nd top 20 hit gives her the most entries within the top 20 of any female artist across the music industry this decade.
