Kanye West surprised fans once again after dropping a surprise new song titled “XTCY” late Friday evening (Aug. 10).

News of the unexpected track arrived through a tweet from DJ Clark Kent. “Sitting in the studio with my man @kanyewest and he said.. ‘Clark, let that new ‘XTCY’ joint go!!! So.. ENJOY: NEW KANYE WEST,” he wrote, alongside a link to a free download of the song.

West confirmed the release by rewtweeting DJ Clark Kent's tweet.

“You got sick thoughts? I got more of ’em / You got a sister-in-law you would smash? I got four of ’em,” West says in the opening of "XTCY."

Fittingly, the artwork for “XTCY” is a candid photo of the five colorfully dressed Kardashian/Jenner sisters flipping off the camera at a party.

“If you don’t say your name then I won’t ask / She got a smartphone but a dumbass / I thought of all this on ecstasy,” West raps on the chorus.

"XTCY" is the first new song from West since the June release of his latest album, Ye, which was followed by his collaborative Kids See Ghosts project with Kid Cudi.
