Hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd turned the Tonight Show stage into a tropical island for their performance of "Guatemala" on Wednesday night (Aug. 8). The duo, Mississippi brothers Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee, set the tone for their performance by covering the stage floor with smoke, hazy lights and stage props including beach chairs, umbrellas, palm trees and a bar.

Lee jumped on the mic first while his brother lounged in a chair behind him. With his characteristically smooth voice and melodic vocal lines, the rapper added to the summery vibe with party hungry bars like "Do it on my jet, let's keep this private," and "Take another sip, then get superpowers."

As the final verse approached, Jxmmi squared up to take the lead. With his slightly lower voice and more rhythmic leads, he kept up the momentum, singing "Yeah, my ex-girl had to move on (on)/ There's no pictures on the wall."

"Guatemala" is off the group's 2018 album, SR3MM, which dropped in May and features Future, Young Thug, Juicy J, The Weeknd, among others.
