The music community has shown an outpouring of support for Demi Lovato since she was hospitalized due to an alleged drug overdose last week (July 24). Among her staunch supporters has been Cardi B, who sent love on social media Demi's way immediately after hearing about the incident.

Now, the Bronx-bred rapper has taken to Twitter on Monday (July 30) to share a video of Lovato's empowering performance of "Sorry Not Sorry" at the 2017 American Music Awards. "Mood," Bardi wrote for the caption.

Lovato's performance began with her in her seat as nasty remarks from social media about her ran across the Microsoft Theater's jumbotron. "There's so much hate in this world, we have to rise above. And never say sorry for who you are," she then said before taking to the stage.

Lovato remains hospitalized in California but is expected to make a full recovery, according to CNN. Meanwhile, the former Disney star's candid "Sober" has re-entered the Hot 100 at a new peak of No. 56 on the chart, dated Aug. 4.
