Queen Naija Announces Her Self-Titled EP, Set to Drop July 27

Queen Naija

Queen Naija

After serving a cold slice of revenge on her breakthrough crossover hit "Medicine," Queen Naija kept the same energy when she unleashed her new song "Karma" late last month. Having treated listeners with several appetizers, Naija is ready to satiate her fans' hunger and release her self-titled EP next Friday (July 27).

"So excited to share the cover of my Self-Titled EP that will be released on 7/27! It will be live tonight for Pre-order & Pre-save at 9pm PT/12am ET #queennaija#music #medicine #karma," wrote the singer-songwriter on Instagram. Though Naija will be riding solo on the EP -- which will include no features -- she recruited the venerable No ID for production on "Bad Boy."

“Even when I was really little, I knew that music was what I wanted to do with my life,” Queen Naija says in a press release announcing her EP. “I didn’t know when or how it was going to happen, but I always knew it was my purpose. More than anything I want my music to be heartfelt – true, heartfelt soul and R&B songs that people can relate to their own lives.”
