Quiet storm legend Anita Baker was hailed as the Lifetime Achievement Award winner at the 2018 BET Awards, and Marsha Ambrosius rose to the occasion with a riveting rendition of one of Baker's biggest hits.
With Baker watching intently, The Songstress belted out "Caught Up in the Rapture," one of the standards off her breakout 1986 LP Rapture. Ambrosius brought her soulful A-game, and the crowd at Los Angeles' Microsoft Theater responded: Baker was misty-eyed through much of it, and others on camera, like Donald Glover, couldn't help but sing along.
