Freddie Gibbs performs a live concert at Pumpehuset in Copenhagen on Nov. 18, 2017.

Following a hilarious trailer announcing his latest project, Freddie Gibbs returned on Friday (June 22) with the release of his self-titled mixtape, Freddie. The 10-track body of work comes after his third studio album,You Only Live 2wice, which released back in March 2017.

Freddie sees features from Cassie Jo Craig, Gibbs' daughter Irie Jane Gibbs, and 03 Greedo, who is gearing up to serve a 20-year prison sentence for various gun and drug charges. The original arrest of the L.A. rapper stems from a 2016 incident in Texas.

Production on the 36-year-old's effort is helmed by SoSoDef CEO Jermaine Dupri, alongside Kenny Beats and RichGains. Freddie's cover art finds the Indiana native donning a beige suit with a pink backdrop that is just oozing with vintage vibes. The cover was inspired by Teddy Pendergrass' 1979 Teddy album.
