Post Malone performs on stage at Day 1 of the 2018 Governors Ball Music Festival on June 1, 2018 in New York City.

Fresh off two triumphant headlining gigs at Governors Ball in New York and Bunbury in Cincinnati, respectively, over the weekend, Post Malone shows no sign of slowing down. The "rockstar" rapper revealed on Tuesday morning (June 5) that just a month after dropping his #1 beerbongs & bentleys album he's already hard at work on the follow-up.

"i am writing for the next album," he said. "thank u to everyone who is listening."

Posty also paid tribute to another Governors Ball headliner, Eminem, replying to a pic of Marshall Mathers hanging backstage at the event with his Shady Records artists Westside Gunn and Conway. "Ur a nerd," Post wrote in a reply to Em, adding two heart, two guitar and two beer emoji.

The party kept raging on Tuesday morning with a video in which Post shouted along to Metallica's "Sad But True" while grabbing a smoke on his tour bus.
