After much delay, Desiigner finally liberated his long-awaited Life of Desiigner project earlier this month and followed up by gifting fans a slew of new releases. On Thursday (May 31), Desiigner continued his gifting spree with a new visual for his LOD cut "Hood," in which the rapper heads back to his old neighborhood in Brooklyn.

The grainy video is set in front of a public housing project in Brooklyn with a bunch of local residents surrounding the rapper, who is decked out in a plush white fur coat. The camera follows Desiigner around his "hood," as he greets kids on a basketball court. Midway through the visual, viewers are taken inside the home of a little boy where his parents are seemingly involved in a heated argument.

"I know n---as gettin' bodied in they own hood/ N---as lost they life in that childhood/ And I don't wanna lose my life/ And I don't wanna lose, and I don't wanna lose," Desiigner raps. Elsewhere in the visual, a boy is running away from a shooting while the victim of the shooting is fighting for his life on the sidewalk. At the end of the video, the shooting victim dies, as his friends stand above a candlelit vigil.
