Offset of Migos performs at the Buku Music + Arts Project at Mardi Gras World on March 9, 2018 in New Orleans.

Earlier this month, Offset was involved in a car accident in Atlanta that severely damaged his car. While he walked away with minor injuries, the Migos rapper took to Twitter on Wednesday to share a video of him gifting a brand-new car to a man he says saved his life after the car accident.

"THANK YOU JMMAR FOR HELPING SAVE MY LIFE. GOD IS GOOD," Offset wrote on Twitter. In a separate video obtained by WorldStarHipHop, Offset said, "he was the only one that seen me, helped me get out the car, helped me walk to get to where I had to get to so I bought my boy a car." Offset's hero was apparently walking to work at the time of the accident before heading over to the scene to help the rapper.

A few days after the accident, Offset confirmed that he tried to avoid hitting a man who was in the middle of the street and ended up crashing his car as a result.

"This is why I thank God Every day I could have been dead from this accident thank you all for you prayers all I can say is (G O D I S R E A L G E T W I T H H I M ) H E S A V E S L I V E S," he captioned a photo of his damaged car on Instagram.
