SZA Pulled From TDE Championship Tour Due to Swollen Vocal Cords
TDE founder Top Dawg shattered a few hearts on Tuesday (May 22) when he announced that SZA has been removed from the label's US tour due to swollen vocal cords.
Top Dawg released a statement on his socials explaining the situation, writing that SZA has been ordered "to rest her voice to prevent any permanent damage."
"We've been monitoring her close and this is the reason she missed the Arizona and New Mexico dates," he continued. Top Dawg said the singer will visit a doctor to determine whether or not she'll be able to continue the tour and he and SZA are trying to find a way to make it up to the fans who didn't get a chance to see SZA.
Should SZA make a full recovery, fans will still be able to catch her live in action for the remainder of the Championship Tour, as the TDE posse will make stops in Atlanta, New York, Philadelphia and Toronto before the tour ends in Pittsburgh.
