Nicki Minaj will be the musical guest on the 'SNL' season finale.

Nicki Minaj is setting the stage for her fifth studio album, which is still without a title and release date. The 34-year-old returned to the rap scene with a pair of singles earlier this month (April 12) in the form of "Barbie Tingz" and "Chun-Li." With a social media frenzy already going on, she decided to engage with her diehard fanbase on Twitter over the weekend, teasing a coinciding arena tour later this year and admitting she's got new music lined up for Saturday Night Live next month (May 19).

Minaj is clearly bursting with excitement to get her career rolling once again. She fired off a series of tweets Sunday (April 22), informing fans that they won't want to miss what's coming. "If u miss it, don’t be mad at Chun. Be mad at YOU! Chun gave u ALLLL the time in the world," she tweeted.

The Queens rapper revealed that the United States would be first up on the tour, but she would later be bringing her shows around the globe. "US first. Then ALL AROUND THE WORLD. BUT THERE’S another surprise you won’t know. Bwahaaahahaaaaaa. The ones at the tour will be elevated to Team Minaj ELITE. Yes, I’m leaning towards [Meet and Greets]," she wrote. "Only cuz my babies been so patient. But pls don’t hold me to it."

She later touched on her upcoming appearance on the SNL finale (May 19) alongside host Tina Fey. The Pink Friday artist also revealed that she would be performing the album's opening track for the first time prior to its release.
