J Cole performs at The O2 Arena on Oct. 15, 2017 in London.

J. Cole returned with his fifth studio album, KOD, on Friday (April 20), just four days after announcing the LPJermaine ended the 12-track effort with his strongest bars exuded throughout the entire album on the outro "1985." Instead of responding to Lil Pump's rumored "Fuck J. Cole" diss, which was teased on social media as a troll, the 33-year-old decided to kick game to a whole generation of neophyte SoundCloud rappers.

“I heard one of em diss me, I’m surprised/ I ain’t trippin, listen good to my reply/ Come here lil man, let me talk with ya/ See if I can paint for you the larger picture," the North Carolina native raps subliminally eviscerating his target.
