Rae Sremmurd have connected with the creme de la creme of music for their upcoming album, SremmLife 3, from the Pharrell Williams-assisted "Chanel" to "Powerglide" featuring Juicy J. On Wednesday (April 18), the duo unveiled their latest single, "Close" featuring Travis Scott, teasing fans a bit more until SremmLife 3 sees the light of day.

Travis Scott's syrupy Auto-Tuned vocals glide seamlessly over the soulful trap melody pieced together by Mike WiLL Made-It and 30 Rock. Swae Lee's melodic croon comes in right after Scott's and later bends into a silky smooth falsetto as Lee continues to flex his vocal prowess. "You're too c-l-o-s-e to me," Lee repeatedly coos, seemingly addressing a clingy lover.

Slim Jxmmi doesn't follow Scott and Lee's smooth flows and instead, lays down a rapid-fire verse about living commitment-free even though he wants to settle down eventually.

Jxmmi told Lowe that he and Lee have about 1,000 songs recorded and can easily put out yet another SremmLife project. "We have Sremm 3, we already have the next album, Sremm 4 Life," Lee told Lowe. "We can put together a solid album right now, solid. But of course, we want to keep cooking up new music, keep evolving."
