Bow Wow Opens Up About Everything In 'Last Interview': Watch
Lately, Bow Wow has been making more noise with his antics than his music. There was the #BowWowChallenge that consumed social media after the rapper was caught flying coach when an Instagram made it seem like he was getting ready for a private jet ride. Then there was his supposed attempt to crop himself into a legendary photo of esteemed Death Row Records artists -- including 2Pac, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, among others. Now Bow Wow (born Shad Moss) seems to be coming clean about everything.
In his self-proclaimed "last interview," with The Breakfast Club on Thursday (Apr. 12), Bow Wow said he was at one point actually signed to Death Row. "When I got with [Snoop Dogg]... was when Dre and all them started to part ways... we felt Death Row wasn't the right move," he said about his claims to have once been signed to the legendary West Coast gangsta rap powerhouse.
Co-host Charlamagne Tha God chimed in, "so that picture of you wasn't you flexing?" Bow Wow shook his head, "no, that was Death Row." He also clarified, among other things, that he never claimed to "run Ohio" and that it was "fake news," and that a member of Future's party never knocked him out.
The rapper released his "comeback" song "Yeaahh" back in February, and has been teasing his upcoming Greenlight 6 project for months now. The rapper did not explain why this would be his final interview, but in an Instagram post prior to his appearance on The Breakfast Club, he simply said "I don't like the press." Lets hope Bow Wow dipping from the spotlight means he's going to be focused solely on the music from here on out.
