As the drama continues on Season 2 of FOX’s hit series Star, one of the show's main stars, Ryan Destiny, and guest star Quavo are teaming up for a special new track called "Lifetime" -- and Billboard premieres the lyric video today (April 5).

The lyric video sees Quavo and Destiny singing into studio mics surrounded by a velvet colored wall and beaming maroon lights. “I paid all my bills for a lifetime,” Quavo sings in the tracks opening verse, offering Destiny a flirtatious glance as he says, “shawty said she love me for a lifetime.” Returning a look herself, Destiny then tackles the hook, “one time for the grind, for the time, that you give your whole life just to see the bright lights with the shine.”

Now into its second season, Star, created by  Lee Daniels and Tom Donaghy, is a show that delves into the gritty reality of the music industry. Destiny plays one of three women who want to make a splash in the Atlanta industry, while Quavo has served as a guest star playing a fictional version of himself.

“Lifetime” will be featured in the season's next episode on Wednesday (April 11.) The song is available for download now via Republic Records, and check out the lyric video below. Star airs every Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET on FOX.
