Blac Youngsta attends his album listening party for 2.23, hosted by Ciroc Vodka and DeLeon Tequila at Ciroc Studios on Feb. 15, 2018 in Los Angeles.

Riding the success of his smash single “Booty,” Memphis rapper Blac Youngsta unleashes his highly anticipated debut album, 223. The 14-track project features guest appearances by French Montana, Travis Scott, LunchMoney Lewis and Memphis legend Yo Gotti, and includes the single “Hip Hopper,” featuring Lil Yachty.

The rapper recruited Travis Scott for probably one of the most notable tracks on the album, “Heavy Camp.” He finds himself rapping about his life before the stardom and being able to achieve success despite hardships and doubts: “I eat, you eat, told my nigga we gon' eat / I ain't gotta stand in front of grandma's house / And sell dope across the street no more."

Celebrating the release of his album, the CMG/Epic artist dropped by New York radio morning show The Breakfast Club to discuss the LP. He called 223 "special," because he recorded over 100 songs just to pick the right 14 songs. "With the album, I got something for each city, each person and each individual," he said. "Everybody gon feel something off the album."

The album also includes production credits from upcoming producer Tay Keith (“BlocBoy JB "Look Alive"), Scott Storch, Murda Beatz (Nicki Minaj "No Frauds") and Youngsta, himself.

On “Strength,” Youngsta talks about the recent natural disasters in the South, the water issues in Flint, Michigan and his brother's passing. “We gotta stick together as black people, if we come together, we’ll have more strength,” he raps. “You see what happened to Miami, Houston, yea, y'all done forgot about Flint.”

Blac Youngsta is set to perform on MTV’s TRL next Monday, performing the hit “Booty.” Racking up over nine million streams worldwide for the song on Spotify, Youngsta has also scored over a million views on YouTube for the single's official video, in less than one full week of release. He teased a remix to the single featuring Chris Brown via Instagram.
