Solange attends the Stuart Weitzman FW18 Presentation and Cocktail Party at The Pool on Feb. 8, 2018 in New York City.

Mardi Gras is almost upon us, and that means plenty bright colors, feathers, beads, and over-the-top outfits to come. Check Solange's fit, for instance: a crystal-draped cowboy hat, dazzlingly bright earrings, and an equally embellished black jacket.

The soulful singer took to Instagram to reveal the ensemble on Sunday (Feb. 11). While the outfit was a huge attraction, what the "Cranes in the Sky" singer revealed in the caption is what really stole the show.

Knowles explained that the attire was made with a helping hand from her son Julez. "p.s: very proud to say my son and I made this hat (come thru glue gun), we a dream team," the singer wrote. Solange also revealed that the jacket was made entirely by her friend Raul Lopez, making her entire outfit full on D.I.Y.
