According to TMZ, Migos frontman Quavo was involved in a heated skirmish with a famed jeweler at a post-Grammy party early Monday morning (Jan. 29).

The alleged victim, Eric the Jeweler, claims that the fight took place after he accused Quavo of owing him money. According to Eric, things escalated and turned violent, as he was allegedly jumped by Quavo and another man. Once the fight concluded, Eric left the club and learned that his $30,000 chain was snatched. He proceeded to file a report to police regarding the incident.

Billboard reached out to the NYPD and received a statement from Detective Sophia T. Mason. "A complaint report for Robbery was filed for an incident that occurred on January 29, 2018 at approximately 0430 hours at [1Oak]," she wrote. "The 25 year old male complainant reported he was assaulted by a member of a musical group (Quavious Marshall) and suffered a swollen right side. He also stated that his necklace was taken during the incident. There are no arrests at this time and remains an active investigation."

TMZ also reports that the NYPD wants to talk to all members of the group and review the security camera footage from the night of the incident at 1Oak. Billboard reached out to Migos' rep for comment.
