Last July, Royce D 5'9" posted a series of photos of him and J. Cole at Heaven Studios in Detroit, hinting that the rappers have been cooking up new music together. All signs point to a forthcoming collab between the two after footage surfaced of Cole and Royce shooting a video for a mystery song.

In the video obtained by HotNewHipHop, producer S1 posted images of Cole and Royce from a recent video shoot where the tandem seemed to be recording at a carnival, standing in front of a carnival game with bright lights illuminating the set.

The collab could possibly land pm Royce and DJ Premier's rumored PRhyme2 project after Royce teased that "each beat on the PRhyme album makes a guest appearance."

Cole on the other hand, was recently spotted in the studio with Wale. The DC rapper shared a short clip of his studio session with Cole on his Instagram story, where Cole was listening intently to one of Wale's songs. Wale wrote "Working on new vibes..wit Cole" across the video, but deleted the story shortly after.
