SZA poses for a portrait in New York on Dec. 4, 2017.

SZA had amazing year with five Grammy nominations and a top-selling album. Her honest lyrics and expressive music have earned her a tremendous amount of success.

Although It’s hard to label SZA’s music, it's assuredly timeless. "People grapple with labeling me as hip-hop, R&B or pop, and it's interesting to me. I'm just making music," she said in an interview with the L.A. Times

The singer also recently revealed in a New York Times interview that she an upcoming album in the works with Tame Impala and Mark Ronson, with three songs already recorded. Last June, she performed a funky jam alongside Mark Ronson ("Uptown Funk") and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker at Governors Ball.

Could it have been first taste of what to expect their upcoming album? With any luck, we’ll hear the full version of that song and the others recorded soon.
