Offset Says Wedding Plans With Cardi B Have Come to a Halt: 'We Don't Got Time for That Right Now'

For Offset and Cardi B, the past few months have been mired in scandal, as reports of infidelity hovered over hip-hop's newest power couple following their engagement last October. While the couple brushed off the reports as trivial -- he recently tattooed her name on his neck -- Offset revealed in a new interview with Rolling Stone that his highly anticipated wedding may not be happening as soon as fans expected.

Since proposing to Cardi in October, Offset has been the target of a few cheating scandals, as sex tapes allegedly featuring the rapper made their rounds on the internet towards the end of 2017. While he remained mum on the cheating rumors, Offset told Rolling Stone that he and Cardi have put a halt on wedding plans -- though he attributed the delay to their respective busy schedules. "We ain't, we ain't planning it right now," he said. "We chilling. We don't got time for that right now."

Cardi addressed the cheating rumors during a performance at the Holiday Hip-Hop Festival back in December where she stated, "I let a n----a know, you do that shit again, you gon' lose your wife." Cardi later changed her tune when a fan commented on the Bronx rapper's relationship woes, in which Cardi responded, "Right or wrong? No it's not right for a nikka to cheat...But what you want me to do? Go f--- me another nikka? Start all over again and get cheated on again? This shit happens to everyone. People handle they relationship different soo."

Offset proposed to Cardi on stage at Power 99's Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia last October, after dating for approximately eight months. Offset says he chose to propose publicly to "let the world see that shit" and admitted that the engagement ring cost him a cool "half a million."

"She is real solid, came from where I came from, did what I did. She's herself, man. I seen her develop from the trenches all the way up, and I like how she did it," he gushed while speaking of his fiancee with Rolling Stone. "I respect her grind as a woman. She came to the game with some gangsta shit. I like that. I fuck with her. That's my baby."

Elsewhere in the interview, Migos discuss their much-anticipated album Culture II, which is slated for release on Friday (Jan. 26). Production credits include Zaytoven, Murda Beatz, Metro Boomin, Mike Dean, Pharrell and more, but the trio revealed they're "sitting on" a few Kanye West-produced records to use for another time.
