STAR on Everyday Struggle

Last year, Everyday Struggle burst onto the hip-hop media scene and quickly became a go-to for fans to find heated daily rap debates between Joe Budden and DJ Akademiks.

Season one came to a close in December with Budden and Complex unable to come to a renewed contract agreement. Following Budden's departure, Complex News enlisted radio personality Troi "STAR" Torain as his replacement for the show's second season.

The controversial longtime hip-hop commentator has made a name for himself on the Star & Buc Wild radio show, and also made stops on NY's Hot 97 and Power 105.1. For the debut episode of season two, STAR sat opposite of Akademiks, as the two tackled a multitude of topics including Drake's new songs, XXXTENTACION's conversation with Akademiks, and Kodak Black's legal troubles.?

Check out the first episode to see the newly established chemistry between the trio of Nadeska Alexis, DJ Akademiks, and STAR below.
