Chief Keef kicked off the month on a high note with the release of his mixtape Dedication -- his fourth project of the year -- but now, the Chicago rapper is allegedly a wanted man. TMZ reports that an arrest warrant has been issued for Keef, who missed a court date earlier this month.

Keef was scheduled to appear in court this month, following a minor car accident he was involved in back in September. At the time, Keef was in Los Angeles and was driving a vehicle on "a suspended or revoked license," sources told the outlet. The rapper was ordered to appear in court by a judge but failed to attend his scheduled court date.

"Chief Keef's failure to appear in court occurred due to a mix up regarding the court date. Keef does not take his legal matters lightly and takes full responsibility for his actions," a rep for Keef told Billboard. "His legal team immediately took action regarding the situation and they are working to reschedule his court date. We are confident that the situation will be rectified quickly."

The embattled rapper has been tied up in a string of legal charges this year, starting in January when he was arrested in connection with an armed robbery and home invasion of his former producer Ramsay the Great. Following that arrest, Keef was then arrested in Miami Beach back in April for a DUI and again in June for marijuana.
