Gucci Mane

Rising singer-songwriter Jake Spooner definitely knows how to pick his collaborators. In July, he linked up with Tory Lanez for his debut single “Rivals.” Now, he’s following it up with “Lost” featuring Gucci Mane.

The pop-rap hybrid was produced by CRIS and SmashDavid, who has had three Grammy nominations for his work with Big Sean, Khalid and Chris Brown. “Lost” even trickles in an electronic, upbeat build-up that ultimately leads into Gucci Mane’s verse, tying the song together with lyrics like “I’mma pay the cost to be the boss/‘Cause without you, girl, I’m lost.”

Jake Spooner’s debut EP is currently in the works. Listen to “Lost” below.
