G-Eazy Talks Halsey's Influence on Concept Album 'The Beautiful & Damned,' Finding Love

With his third studio album set for release Friday, the Oakland MC dishes on the collaborative chemistry with his pop girlfriend.

One of music's most adorable duos, G-Eazy and Halsey are never ones to shy away from packing on the PDA or gushing about each other's musical endeavors. With Eazy's new album The Beautiful & Damned set for release Friday, the Oakland rapper revealed how his girlfriend's latest album, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom, influenced his new LP.

"We're like-minded people, like-minded creatives," he told Billboard. "We both appreciate the idea of an album and doing something like a concept album, you know, taking on a challenge and crafting something cohesive, so I'm excited to have her on it. It's dope."

At Migos member Offset's 26th birthday soiree in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, the "No Limit" MC also mentioned to Billboard on the red carpet how difficult it is finding true love in this industry, and once you do, holding on to it.

Speaking on the pair's hard-to-find romance, Eazy adds, "It's a really special thing, man. You appreciate it when you find it and just enjoy it."

G-Eazy's The Beautiful & Damned will be released Friday. Pre-orders for the 20-track LP are available here.
