As the third single from his latest album Beach House 3, Ty Dolla $ign shows the “Side Effects” of relationships -- and now there's a video too.

Directed by Ryan Hope, the visual begins with a couple enjoying their relationship. “You come around and I don’t want to eat/ You come around and I don’t want to sleep, you tried to warn me/ Yeah, you tried to warn me about the side effects,” Ty sings from a balcony.

Things are going great in the relationship and in the male lead’s music career until they have a child. He leaves home and finds happiness in a new relationship and an added life of crime. The young man gets caught by the police while robbing a house soon after.

With this project, Ty certainly did more singing than rapping. “I sung my ass off. But it's still gonna be a mainstream vibe,” Ty told Rolling Stone. “That's all I'm trying to do: Make a lane for the singers."

“Love U Better” and “Dawsin’s Breek” were the first two singles released from his album.

His unique blend of old-school melodies with modern-day beats quickly made him one the busiest featured vocalists. Ty Dolla $ign has worked with everyone from Juicy J, Major Lazer and Gucci Mane to Chance the Rapper, Fifth Harmony, Lecrae and more.

He begins his Don’t Judge Me Tour in California, heading to Detroit, St. Louis and Toronto at the top of the year.
