As you may know, JAY-Z turns 48 today. Of course, Dec. 4 a date every HOV superfan has memorized since he released The Black Album, with its standout early track “December 4th.” Ahead of his birthday, the Brooklyn Nets gifted the Brooklyn native (and former member of Nets ownership) with a cake so precisely designed, you wouldn’t even want to take a piece.

The dream cake was delivered backstage prior to the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum tour stop Saturday (Dec. 2) in Long Island, NY. Roc Nation’s Emory Jones gave fans a look at the work of art on Instagram, captioning the video, “The Big Homie done touch down at Nassau Coliseum. Early birthday love from Brent Yormark and the team. Salute King... #444 #HOV.”

We believe he meant Brett Yormark, who is the CEO of the Brooklyn Nets. His twin-brother, Michael Yormark, is the president & chief of branding and strategy for Roc Nation. The cake features images encompassing Jigga's life story -- from “The Story of O.J.” visuals to the Roc Nation logo, a Grammy Award (for which JAY has eight nominations this year) and much more, this dessert had a little bit of everything. Check it all out in detail below.

Happy Birthday to Brooklyn's own!
