Shy Glizzy has been sporadic with releasing music. However, the D.C. native is set to release a brand-new mixtape, Quiet Storm, in about a week. With Shy’s Grammy nomination alongside Goldlink on the latter’s record “Crew,” there’s a lot of anticipation for Quiet Storm.

Just a couple of days after the Grammy nod, Shy Glizzy recruits Trey Songz and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie for his new song “Dope Boy Magic.” The two MCs and Mr. Steal Your Girl, who takes care of the song’s hook, rhyme about making moves and flipping money bags.

“Young jefe, homes/ Girl, what your name is?/ Tell me who you came with/ Ain’t nothin’ like none of these industry n---as, I’m dangerous/ She like ain’t you famous? (Nope)/ I’m still on that same shit (Yup)/ I bet you won’t never go f---in’ no lame/ Put you on this game shit,” Shy raps.

Quiet Storm, the follow-up to his The World Is Yours mixtape, will be available on all streaming services Dec. 12.
