DMX is ready to spread some Christmas cheer. On Wednesday (Nov. 29), the rapper finally unleashed his own glorious version of the enduring Christmas classic "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" after a video of him rapping to the song went viral back in 2012.

In the original version, an interviewer asked DMX to recite the lyrics to the festive tune, and he began to perform the song by creating his own beat using a nearby table, creating an instantly viral video.

On the new version, DMX maintains his raspy, aggressive voice over the uptempo instrumental, replete with thumping drums and gentle jingle bells. In between the dog growls and the rapper's signature ad-libs, DMX sticks to the original lyrics. DMX's "Rudolph" cover is part of Spotify's Singles Christmas playlist, which also includes covers from Wyclef Jean, Lalah Hathaway, Fifth Harmony, Sam Smith and more.
