Update: In a statement to Billboard, Daniel Caesar spoke on the engagements that have taken place at his recent concerts. "Life decisions are being made to songs I wrote by myself in my room. I think that's incredible. I'm honored."

Apparently love is in the air this holiday season. Multiple fans have proposed to their significant others throughout Daniel Caesar's 25-date tour, which coincides with his debut album, Freudian. The Fader believes fans may be drawing inspiration from the HBO series Insecure. During an episode, Issa fantasizes about Lawrence proposing while Caesar’s euphonious “Blessed” croons in the background.

The Toronto native, combined with emerging opener and beautiful songstress Snoh Aalegra, have drawn rave reviews from concertgoers across the nation. Between their love ballads and overall romanticizing vibe, the affectionate scene has inspired three recorded proposals on tour with dates still to go, which have been documented on social media.

Earlier in November, Twitter user CaroWeenie posted, “You don’t know the true pain of being single until you witness a marriage proposal at a Daniel Caesar concert.” Let’s see if this trend continues to build by year’s end thanks to the soulful artists.
