GoldLink notched a few firsts in 2017 with his breakout single "Crew," from the song debuting on the Billboard Hot 100 to recently going platinum. On Monday night, GoldLink and his "Crew" -- Brent Faiyaz and Shy Glizzy -- pocketed another first by performing the platinum hit on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Backed by The Roots, GoldLink stood aside so his fellow DMV singer, Brent Faiyaz, can lay down his smooth vocals for the infectious hook. When Link's turn rolls around, the rapper is seen rapping into a red telephone shaped microphone, giving his 2017 hit a subtle old-school rework. "Goddamn, what a time, what a year/ We are what them young boys fear," Link raps. "I kill, never been killed, that's real, no lies/ You can tell that from our peers right now."

Next, Shy Glizzy bursts onto the stage as GoldLink and Faiyaz support their cohort by adding in a few ad-libs of their own.

GoldLink is currently on his European headlining tour and just announced plans to take his tour to Australia and New Zealand in 2018. Link will head to New Zealand on March 21 and then head to Australia until the end of the month.
